Types of Spray Foam Insulation:
Open Cell and Closed Cell

This is an open cell, two component, water blown system specifically designed for interior insulation. This spray foam is low density, weighing 0.4 to 0.6 lbs per cubic ft that expands 100-150 times its original volume forming a non structural flexible foam, filling all voids producing a climate control environment. This insulation forms a completely sealed air barrier in wall cavities and can be used to fill 2” x 6” stud wall construction in a single application. Its performance is superior to commonly used fiber insulations. Since it adheres well to most building materials it provides a continuous barrier against air infiltration for the life on the building. The results are a cleaner environment, greater noise reduction, occupant comfort and substantial energy savings. In a typical home, 3 to 3 1/2 inches of foam is applied in walls and 5 1/2 to 6 inches is applied to the under side of roof decks.

This is an closed cell, two component, water blown system specifically designed for commercial and residential insulation. This product is a nominal 1.7 pound density polyurethane foam expanding 35 to 50 times its original volume forming a semi-rigid, structural foam, filling all voids producing a climate control environment. This spray foam inhibits the flow of moisture and vapor and provides an excellent air barrier resulting in a cleaner environment, greater noise reduction, occupant comfort and substantial energy savings. When properly installed it provides permanent thermal insulation and adds to the structural stability of the construction through good adhesion to the substrate. In a typical home, due to its density, 2 inches of faom is applied in walls and 3 to 4 inches is applied to the under side of roof decks.
